INTERtained Entertainment started out as a small company, founded and owned by Daniel Steyn, now known as "DJ Kuif". Armed with a tiny PA system, a laptop computer and a small collection of CDs, and guided by his passion for theatre and entertainment, he started a small business called "Skadulaan Theatre".
After a few years, Daniel's music was gradually becoming more popular at his friends' parties. He, together with his close friend, Daniel Botha, aka "DJ Vaat", saw an entrepreneurial opportunity, and came up with the idea to turn this simple need into a service. Instead of specializing his services only in theatre, he decided to integrate different services. The name Skadulaan Theatre was changed to INTERtained Entertainment - "INTER" getting its origin from "integrate" and "tained" from "entertained".
INTERtained DJ was started as one of these services and it is now run by Daniel Steyn himself together with Daniel Botha. INTERtained DJs are now in popular demand and regularly DJ at parties. Other services offered by INTERtained Entertainment are INTERtained Records and INTERtained Events. Visit INTERtained Entertainment for more info.
Seeing that their simple rig was not enough to DJ for bigger parties, the two Daniels decided to kick it up a notch, by buying the Vestax Typhoon USB MIDI DJ Controller, which allows them to give even more stunning performances, with live mixing between songs.
